- Tamro has been active in the Latvian pharmaceuticals market since 1993.
- Tamro delivers products to more than 700 pharmacies, 100 medical institutions and 300 family doctors' practices every day in order to ensure their operations in Latvia.
- Tamro works in cooperation with more than 100 producers of pharmaceutical products around the world.
- Tamro offers around 7000 name brand pharmaceutical and medical goods.
- Tamro turnover has continually grown on average by 30% for the last 19 years.
- During this time, Tamro has become one of Latvia's largest corporations.
- In 2008 Tamro ranked 37th among Latvia's largest corporations in terms of net turnover (Lursoft).
- Tamro is among the top 10 largest importers in Latvia who pay the largest amount of taxes (VID).
- In order to evaluate and improve cooperation with its customers, Tamro regularly sends out customer surveys. With the help of these surveys, customers are asked to compare the service of other leading pharmaceutical wholesalers in such areas as speed of delivery, product assortment, market coverage, and quality of service.
Training
In the midst of changing legislation and entrepreneurship, Tamro has organized training seminars for leaders in Latvia's pharmaceutical industry.
Course themes: pharmaceutical care and topicality of pharmacy and medicine branch. Courses usually last for 4 days. At the end of each course participants receive a diploma. Participation in these courses can count as credit towards the pharmaceutical professional qualification certificate.

Philanthropic Activities
- Tamro has been donating money to the Riga Dom School Boys Choir since 2001. With Tamro's support, at the beginning of 2004 the Riga Dom School Boys Choir released a CD that is a compendium of their achievements over the last years.
- In 2003 Tamro began to support experience and exchange trips for pharmacists organized by the Latvian Pharmaceutical Society.

Tamro and Gimenes Pharmacy in year 2008 had a new cooperation with Valmiera SOS settlement, with donating money for setting up a teacher room. There will be scholastic kitchen, room for relaxing and library.
