Blue sky and sea, white houses and bright blue church domes, windmills and mountains, wine yards and olive groves, agaves and opuncias, and sun all above. That’s the first impression of some of the 2000 islands of Greece – the Cycads, visited in September by the clients of pharmaceutical wholesaler Tamro. The beautiful and somewhat wild nature of Paros, Naxos, Santorini and Crete, as well as the hospitality of local inhabitants will stick in many hearts as precious and warm memories of the time spent there.

June is the first month of summer, also called the month of flowers, when days are the longest and nights the shortest. Nights when the dreams are most beautiful... and coming true.

Just like a beautiful midsummer night dream was our current joint trip along the northern seacoast of France, enjoying the charm of the harshly beautiful Normandy, simply cordial Brittany and, of course, Paris.

In early autumn when the leaves start turning yellow and red and the sunbeam games become calmer, Tamro invited its clients to prolong the summer by going to the islands of Sicily, Sardinia and Corsica.

Location: recreation camp Copes in Ogre district.

Participants: five mature pioneer teams under the names of Carbo activatus, Viride nitens, Sulfur depuratum, Hydrargyrum oxydatum flavum and Spiritus vini. Their members are closely related to associationaptieka1 and pharmaceutical wholesaler Tamro.

The middle of summer – July – is the time in when the sun is the hottest in Latvia. This is also the right time to go northward, namely, to Finland and Norway.And so, in the middle of summer a group of pharmacists went to see the miracles behind the Polar arch.

Munich – the capital of Bavaria and the queen of alehouses, fairy-tale castles in Neuschwanstein and Linderhof, Zugspitz, the highest cop of the German Alps, a cruise in the mountain-surrounded Königsee, - this is how summer began for a group of pharmacists participating in the trip to the most beautiful places in Bavaria organized by Tamro. Tamro sales representative Linda Ezera shares her impressions.

At the end of May a group of Latvian pharmacists together with Tamro could enjoy the coloring of the Balkans and get to know Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Kitija Blumfelde, Tamro marketing specialist, shares her impressions.

For the third time participants of Tamro Aptieku programma (TAP) got together on a summer sports day. This time – in the sports and recreation center “Turbas” in the district of Ogre. As always – on August 11.

The past summer is characterized by new impressions gained during experience exchange trips. In the middle of July a group of Latvian pharmacists visited Bavaria and Switzerland.

At the end of the year Tamro organised customer party, conjointly “building a snowman” with the guests.

Tamro gathered company’s best customers, most loyal collaboration partners and friends for the Closing Party of the year in the Museum of Ornamental Art and Design where Christmas exhibition “Snow Berry” was shown kindling particularly romantic atmosphere to the delight of the guests. To make sure that everyone was in a good mood, the vocal group of actors “Greizais ratiņš” sang their songs. Tamro senior management had taken care of special awards for the most outstanding performers of their work.

Bearing in mind employees’ wishes, the Tamro group’s final event of the year took place in an somewhat more sporty and attractive environment!

For the months of May, June and July, TPP pharmacies participated in a contest for the most successful sales of KRKA products.

On August 11th, one year ago, we met for a day of summer activities in Vonadziņi near Gulbene. This summer, again on August 11th, the bravest sportsmen and women gathered on the banks of the Usma Lake at the conference and vacation centre "Lejastiezumi".

In June and September of 2005 SIA Tamro organized an exchange program to Sweden for their clients with the goal of getting acquainted with business operations at Swedish pharmaceutical wholesaler "Tamro AB" and producer "AstraZeneca AB".

Last year on the 15th of December, Tamro invited its clients and partners to a Year End Party.

At the end of October, 2004 employees from the Tamro Pharmacy Program visited Croatia and Hungary.
